Saving with the 2013 Entertainment Book

Last week I wrote about some of the ways my family saves for travel.

One of the ways we avoid paying full price for things like eating out and family entertainment is to use coupons from the Entertainment Book.

Using Entertainment Books for Everyday Savings

They have tons of coupons for clothing stores, fast food, fine dining, drying cleaning etc.

With coupons from national and local businesses, the 2013 Entertainment Book is a great way to save on everyday purchases depending on how often you use it.

My family usually recoups the cost after 2 or 3 uses. Discounts, coupons and offers expire in November so it’s better to buy the book now rather than later.

I recently spotted the 2013 Entertainment Book for Toronto at my local Costco for $19.99 (normally $35) and bought several to give away as Christmas presents.

If you don’t have a Costco membership, you can purchase the book online.

Using Entertainment Books for Travel

Available for almost every major city in Canada and the US (including Walt Disney World in Orlando), Entertainment Books can be great for saving while you travel. There are coupons for local restaurants, attractions and events.

You can see some of the deals that are offered in the city you’ll be visiting before committing to buying the book on Entertainment.com’s website.

Savings on travel related expenses are included in EVERY Entertainment Book.

Some of the travel related discounts in the 2013 Entertainment Book include:

  • Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines – up to $200 on board credit
  • Car Rentals – Save up to 30% on rentals from Enterprise, Hertz, Avis, Budget, National and Alamo
  • Expedia – Save 10% off on hotel bookings of $150 or more

Books normally take anywhere from 2-3 weeks to arrive so take that into account when you order online.

  • I went to my local Costco last night to look but they no longer sell. I will be stopping by the local bookstore or order online - what ever is the cheapest. Thanks for reminding me about this. I used to buy but forgot during the holidays

  • They are also available at Walmart if you are near one. Not sure what the price is but I did see them on the shelf a few weeks ago. Good luck Hilda!
