Disney in the Details: Sailing on the Disney Dream

It’s not surprising the amount of thought Disney Imagineers put into the design of rides, parks, resorts and cruise ships.

There are so many little details I didn’t really notice during my family’s most recent cruise on the Disney Dream until I started organizing our photos.

The Disney Dream is gorgeous and there are so many little things that make sailing with Disney worth the extra few pennies. OK, many pennies.

Some of my favourite Disney Dream details:

Top of the line bath and body products available in all staterooms

Stunning Finding Nemo Mosaic Wall – my photo doesn’t do it justice

One of several “Enchanted Art” pieces on the Disney Dream. Stand in front of it and the characters start talking and moving!

Cinderella’s Castle Sand Bucket is available for purchase on Disney’s Private Island: Castaway Cay.

A few more reasons to consider sailing on the Disney Dream!

Check out Focused On The Magic’s Wordless Wednesday for more Disney in the Details photos.

Cheryl - Kids On A Plane: Cheryl daydreams about exploring the world with her family often and will travel for good food, lattes and theme park rides that don't require her to go too high in the sky. She's afraid of heights!

  • I am so jealous! I have heard so many good things about the Disney Dream. It looks beautiful!

  • I haven't been on the cruise line yet, but this looks AMAZING. Thanks for sharing!

  • I've never been on a Disney Cruise, though I hope we can cruise one of these days! I love all of your pictures but my absolute favorite is the one of the toiletries! I love Disney toiletries and I've not see a pictures of the cruise ones anywhere before! (I'm excited by strange things, I guess)

    • I love their toiletries too. I try to minimize what we use during vacation so I can bring some of it home to use later. HAHAH!

  • We love Disney Cruises, can't wait for our Alaska trip next summer. I'm still using our extra toiletries from our last trip :) Great shots, that Nemo wall is amazing.

    • Oh Alaska is sounds like a wonderful place to cruise with Disney. Which boat will you be on Sean?

We haven't been to Alaska yet but hear from friends and family that it is beautiful.

Yes, the Nemo wall is a work of art!

      • We did Alaska on the Disney Wonder last year (just the hubby and I ) It was amazing ! Silly me I thought I had to have sun, sand and swimming to be on vaca ! Really just agreed because my husband always wanted to go there ! I can honestly say now that was one of the most beautiful vacations I have ever been on !!!

        • I've heard many great things about vacationing in Alaska and hope that we will be able to visit via cruise one day. I'm glad to hear you enjoyed the Disney Wonder, Tami.

  • Name one person that does not come home with H2O products tucked away in their suitcase so you can keep the magic going just a little bit longer at home! A Disney Cruise is on my Wish List but now it's moved up just so I can get the Cinderella Castle bucket!

    • Ha! Yes I usually ask mousekeeping for extra sometimes.

My kids have been taking that bucket everywhere this summer!

  • Love that "Enchanted Art" picture! We haven't been on the Dream yet - can't wait to see these in person. Thanks for sharing!

  • Love your pictures! Haven't sailed the Dream but the other ships and those were just packed with amazing details too. Some day we'll cruise on the Dream.. I hope! Thanks so much for sharing and for joining in on the Disney Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop fun today!

    • I'm excited to sail on the other ships too, Deb! Next year we're on the Wonder I think. Thanks for hosting!

  • I really need to talk the hubs into a cruise. Looks amazing! Thanks for the pic. I just love Bruce.
